Our August speaker will be Doug Phillips, UF/IFAS Blueberry Extension Coordinator. Doug hold a B. S. in Horticultural Science from North Carolina State University and an M. S. in Horticultural Science from the University of Florida, and is based at the Gulf Coast Research and Education Center in Wimauma. Among many professional activities, he assists growers with production, disease, and pest issues, evaluates trial selections at Florida breeding program trial sites, and is the author of numerous articles on blueberry horticulture in Florida.
